How do I initiate an FX Transfer between AUD and USD?
To transfer AUD to USD (and vice versa), navigate to your Superhero Wallet and follow these steps:
- Click on the FX Transfer tab.
- To Transfer AUD to USD, enter an 'Amount to transfer'. Please note the minimum amount to transfer is A$100.
- To Transfer USD to AUD, click on the blue arrows and enter an 'Amount to transfer'. Please note the minimum amount to transfer is US$100, or the full amount if less than US$100.
- Click 'Calculate' - this will fetch the current FX rate and display the amount you will receive upon confirmation, as well as the fees applicable for the transfer.
- Click 'Confirm' to complete the transfer.
Please note, after you click ‘calculate’, we hold the rate for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, you will need to recalculate the amount.
How are FX Transfer Fees calculated?
If you convert Australian Dollars (AUD) to U.S. Dollars (USD), our FX Transfer Fee is deducted from the USD rate. If you convert U.S. Dollars (USD) to Australian Dollars (AUD), our FX Transfer Fee is added to the USD rate. This means that the amount you receive is net of the FX Transfer Fee.

Are FX Transfer funds available straight away?
FX Transfers are processed instantly.
Please note - you cannot use unsettled funds for FX Transfers. Only funds in the cash balance are available for currency transfer. These will become available once the settlement period has finished.
Is there a minimum amount I can transfer to/from my U.S. Wallet?
There is a $100 minimum for currency transfers to or from Australian dollars and U.S. dollars. However, if you have less than US$100 in your Wallet, you are able to transfer the full amount back to Australian dollars (minimum balance of US$1 required).
An FX Transfer Fee will still apply in this circumstance.
