How do I apply for Departing Australia Superannuation Payment (DASP)?
To apply for the Departing Australia Superannuation Payment, please complete the online application with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). For more details, please see the ATO website. Once approved, please follow on to the next steps.
I’m approved by the ATO, what next?
Once the ATO approves your application, they’ll issue us with an approval notice.
You will then need to submit a request, attaching:
- A completed withdrawal form signed with wet-ink (you don’t need to select any reason for withdrawal on Question 2)
- A bank statement for an Australian bank account in your name. If you prefer to pay to an international bank account, please provide Bank Name, Swift Code, Bank address, Account number (and IBAN for payments to Europe and UK)
If you do not have valid Australian Identification to be electronically verified and require certified identification, please utilise one of the below individuals/entities:
- An Australian diplomatic officer
- An Australian consular officer
- An employee of the Australian Government
- An employee of the Australian Trade Commission
- A notary public
